The best and the most popular way to reach Sanya is by air. About 90% of visitors choose to come to Sanya and Haikou by flights. There are 10 flights operating daily from Guangzhou to Sanya. So if there is no direct flight from your departure city to Sanya, you can always go via Guangzhou. Another way is to fly to Haikou and then come down to Sanya by bus, taxi or a private car. It takes 3.5 hours from Haikou to Sanya by private car. If you wish to spend more time in travelling, you can come by train.
